Dr. Georgia Rose Phillips is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the School of Humanities, University of Adelaide. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from UNSW and has taught at institutions including UNSW. Her research focuses on literary narrative modes, modernism, post-postmodernism, and eco-feminism. Phillips has been recognized with prizes like the Scribe Nonfiction Literary Prize and Ultimo Literary Prize. Her upcoming novel, The Bearcat, will be published in 2025. She actively contributes to literary journals such as Antipodes, Meniscus, and TEXT. Phillips also reviews works for The Historical Novels Review and engages with contemporary issues like climate terminology and animal ethics in her writing.
