Georgia Kayser is an Assistant Professor in the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health at UC San Diego and Deputy Director of the UC Global Health Institute's Center for Planetary Health. Her research focuses on environmental health inequities, particularly in water quality, sanitation, and pesticide exposure effects on children and adolescents. She investigates global disparities in access to safe drinking water and WaSH services, with a methodological emphasis on cross-sectional studies, geospatial analysis, and intervention testing. Her work spans over 20 countries in the Americas, sub-Saharan Africa, and South Asia, funded by NIH, NIDA, and other agencies.

- Postdoctoral research at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health
Current projects include NIEHS-funded studies on pesticide exposure in Ecuador and NIDA-funded research on WaSH access among unhoused populations on the US-Mexico border. She teaches global and environmental health courses at UCSD and mentors students in her research.
