George Voneiff is a Professor of Practice in Petroleum Engineering at Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering, part of the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. He holds a B.S. (1983) and M.S. (1992) in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
His research focuses on applied petroleum economics in unconventional plays, statistical analysis of large datasets from unconventional formations, and large-scale production data analysis using empirical techniques.
He has received notable recognition, including the Sproule Lifetime Achievement Award (2005), Aggie 100 #1 company recognition (2005), and a Finalist position for Ernst & Young Canadian Entrepreneur of The Year (2004). He is a member of the Texas A&M University Petroleum Engineering Academy of Distinguished Graduates (2013).
George’s office is located in RICH 901K, and his work emphasizes bridging academic research with practical applications in unconventional reservoirs and economic modeling.
