Lord George Robertson is a Visiting Professor at King's College London's Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy. He previously served as NATO's 10th Secretary General (1999–2004) and UK Secretary of State for Defence (1997–1999). A Labour Party politician, he was elected as MP for Hamilton (1978–1999) and later became Baron Robertson of Port Ellen, a life peer. He chairs The Cohen Group's Senior Counsellors and holds 12 honorary doctorates.
