George Richardson

Dr. George Richardson is a Professor at the University of Cincinnati's College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services, where he coordinates the Substance Abuse Counseling Program. His research focuses on psychosocial measure validation, evolutionary-developmental theories of high-risk behaviors, and reducing measurement bias in diverse populations.

• Current research strands include: alcohol use disorder recovery construct validity (NIAAA grant #R21AA029762), evolutionary-developmental theories of substance use, measurement bias mitigation, and familial confound controls in developmental research.
