George Owttrim is a Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta. His research focuses on understanding how photosynthetic organisms respond to environmental changes, using cyanobacterial RNA helicases as a model system. His work integrates molecular, biochemical, genetic, and physiological approaches to study gene expression regulation under stress conditions.
