George Matsopoulos

George Matsopoulos is a tenured Professor at the Division of Information Transmission Systems and Material Technology, part of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). His research focuses on medical image processing, AI-driven healthcare systems, and telemedicine applications. He holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering from NTUA (1988), an M.Sc. (1989), and a Ph.D. (1993) from the Bioengineering Unit at the University of Strathclyde, U.K.
