Dr. George B. Lipscomb is a full-time Professor in the Social Studies and Geography department at Furman University. With a career spanning since 2002, he specializes in social studies education, curriculum development, and geography pedagogy, maintaining active involvement at local, state, and national educational levels.

His research focuses on multicultural education, international collaboration (particularly in New Zealand), and K-12 teacher preparation. Recent publications examine cultural integration in classrooms, instructional strategies, and curriculum design. He has led student May Experience programs to New Zealand and serves as a Pathways advisor.
