George E. Karniadakis is the Charles Pitts Robinson and John Palmer Barstow Professor of Applied Mathematics and Engineering at Brown University, with a joint appointment in the School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. (1987) and S.M. (1984) from MIT. His research focuses on machine learning, physics-informed neural networks, stochastic modeling, and biomedical applications. He leads the DOE Center on Physics-Informed Learning Machines (PhILMs) and the OSD/AFOSR MURI on Physics-Informed Neural Networks for PDEs.
