Georg Stadler

Georg Stadler is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at New York University's Courant Institute. His research focuses on computational inverse problems, uncertainty quantification, and PDE-constrained optimization, driven by applications in climate modeling, geophysics, and plasma physics. He holds a PhD from the University of Graz (2004) and has been recognized with awards including the Gordon Bell Prize (2015) and the SIAM Computational Science & Engineering Best Paper Prize (2019).
