George Davison is a Professor of English at Santa Monica College, where he teaches courses including English composition, ethnic literature, and Asian American literature. He holds a BA in Psychology from Goldenwest College and the University of Arizona with a minor in East Asian Studies, and an MA in 20th Century British Literature and Postcolonial Studies from California State University, Long Beach. He is also certified in Japanese Language (Level 1 N1).
