Dr. George Adamopoulos is a Visiting Researcher at the School of Engineering, Lancaster University. His work focuses on the physics and engineering of semiconducting thin films, including carbon-based materials, metal oxides, and organic semiconductors, with applications in touch panel displays, AMOLEDs, and optoelectronic devices.

His research spans thin film deposition and characterization techniques, with recent emphasis on solution-processed metal oxide-based conductors, dielectrics, semiconductors, and CIGS for high-performance thin film transistors.
