George A. Dasaro served as a Professor of Accounting at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) from 1977 to 2017, dedicating nearly 40 years to the institution. A 1963 alumnus of Loyola University Los Angeles (now part of LMU), he played a pivotal role in guiding thousands of accounting graduates toward careers in Big Eight firms and emphasized ethical professional practice.

Research & Professional Background: Prior to academia, Dasaro worked as a treasurer, divisional controller, and auditor. Awards & Legacy: Recognized repeatedly for teaching excellence, he also held the Paul A. Grosch Professorship (2005–2006). His legacy includes shaping LMU's accounting program and advocating for 'men and women for others' in professional practice.
