Georgakellos Dimitrios is a Professor at the Department of Business Organization and Administration of the University of Piraeus, where he also serves as Department Chair. He holds a PhD in Business Organization and Management from the University of Piraeus and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens.

His recent work explores topics like ESG initiatives in the hotel industry, industrial symbiosis modeling, and decarbonization strategies in energy sectors. He serves as a reviewer for international journals and has led European research programs.
