Georg Fytas

Georg Fytas serves as Professor and Group Leader of the Physics of Interfaces Group at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany, while also holding the position of Project Manager within the institute.

His core research focuses on the physical properties of interfaces in polymeric systems, spanning Polymer Physics, Soft Matter Physics, Interfacial Science, and Materials Science. This work investigates molecular interactions at material boundaries to advance fundamental understanding of soft matter behavior.
