Dr Geoffrey Wood is a Lecturer in Energy and Environmental Law at the University of Stirling's Law School. He joined in 2014 after earning a PhD in Energy Law from the University of Dundee, along with advanced degrees in Renewable Energy and Ecological Geography. His research focuses on legal and policy frameworks for sustainable energy transitions, particularly in Scotland, the EU, and globally. He explores multi-level governance, fossil fuel regulation, public participation, and the interplay between energy and environmental law.
