Geoffrey W. Grogan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Adelphi University's College of Arts and Sciences. His teaching portfolio includes courses such as Character Design, From Disney To Burton And Beyond: The History Of Animation, and Visual Narrative I. With a specialization in visual storytelling, his academic work bridges contemporary art theory with practical applications in comics and animation.

Notable grants include two $5,000 awards from the Xeric Foundation and Adelphi's faculty development fund.
Professional Recognition: 2003 Village Voice 'Best of New York' award for innovative use of media in art. His publications include four volumes of Plastic Babyheads from Outer Space (2014) and a contribution to Abstract Comics: The Anthology (2009).
