Geoffrey Glover is a Teaching Professor in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the CEAT and College in High School programs. His expertise spans Science Fiction, African American literature, identity studies, and pedagogy focused on anti-racism and multicultural education. He actively explores innovative teaching methods in literature and writing instruction.
Research interests include 20th-century American prose, speculative fiction, and the African American novel. Current projects address pedagogical approaches to science fiction, contextualizing African American history in literature courses, and optimizing office hours for learning.
