Dr. Geoff Walker is an Associate Professor in Power Engineering at QUT's School of Electrical Engineering & Robotics, part of the Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on power electronics applications in renewable energy (especially PV), electric vehicles, and smart grid technologies. He holds a PhD from the University of Queensland and has over 25 years of industry and academic experience, including roles at Aurecon and the University of Queensland. His expertise spans multilevel converters, distribution networks, and PWM strategies.

Teaching includes power electronics, electrical engineering foundations, and energy systems. His work emphasizes practical solutions for modern energy challenges, including battery storage systems and grid reliability improvements.
