Geoff Marslett is an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in animation, film direction, and experimental media. He is an award-winning animator, writer, director, producer, and actor, with work featured in over 100 festivals including Sundance, SXSW, and Cannes. His films have been distributed by Netflix, HBO, and Amazon Prime, and have garnered critical acclaim from The New York Times, Variety, and others. His academic focus emphasizes helping students realize their creative visions through diverse techniques.
Research Interests: Marslett’s work explores hybrid animation techniques, live-action integration, experimental storytelling, and the intersection of technology with traditional filmmaking. He prioritizes innovative approaches to narrative and visual expression, often blending animation with documentary or live-action elements.
