Geof Hall is a Continuing Assistant Professor at Queen's University, affiliated with the School of Environmental Studies and the Department of Geography and Planning. His research focuses on surface and groundwater quality, naturalized treatment systems, and environmental determinants of health. He holds a BScH in Biology and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, both from Queen's University.
Research interests include microbial biogeophysics in water systems, constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment, and socioeconomic influences on health outcomes. Notable projects include collaborations with KFL&A Public Health on geospatial health analysis and the Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development on community resilience in Peru.
His publications emphasize water quality dynamics, algal roles in treatment, and climate-related health impacts. He actively supervises graduate students and teaches courses integrating field and digital methodologies. Collaborative efforts span environmental engineering, public health, and sustainable development.
