Geneviève Young is a Research Associate in the Department of Music at King's College London, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. She holds a PhD in French from the University of Cambridge, focusing on Old French and Old Occitan epic poetry. Her research explores how literary participation shapes communal identities, particularly through medieval epic traditions and affective temporalities. She is a core member of the interdisciplinary MUSLIVE project, investigating medieval French song as a transnational social practice.
