Geneviève Soucy

Geneviève Soucy is a full-time Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montreal, affiliated with the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology. She is actively involved in teaching and clinical research, serving on multiple committees related to pathology residency programs and medical curriculum development.

Her research focuses on immunopathological mechanisms in liver diseases, including studies on dendritic cells in Crohn's disease, signaling pathways in hepatocellular carcinoma, and clinicopathological evaluation of liver metastases. Additional projects explore nodular regenerative hyperplasia and intratumoral lymphocytes in pancreatic adenocarcinoma.

Recent publications highlight her expertise in gastrointestinal pathology and immune-mediated disease mechanisms. She has received the Esculape Prize for teaching excellence in anatomopathology. Her work spans collaborations with the CRCHUM (Research Center of the University of Montreal Hospital Center) and clinical research networks.
