Dr. Genevieve Currie is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Mount Royal University. She holds a PhD, MN, and BN from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Nursing. Her academic work bridges nursing education, pediatric care for children with complex needs, and community health leadership.
Dr. Currie specializes in teaching undergraduate nursing students about family newborn health, leadership, and population health. Her research focuses on parent experiences caring for children with rare neurodevelopmental disorders, prematurity, and medical complexity.
