Dr. Gemma Moore is an Associate Professor (Teaching) and Senior Research Fellow in Evaluation at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy & Resources, University College London. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to sustainable urban environments, emphasizing participatory methodologies and co-production of knowledge with communities, policymakers, and NGOs. As Faculty Impact Lead, she drives applied research initiatives addressing complex urban challenges. She co-leads the Evaluation Exchange programme, fostering research-evaluation capacity across institutions.
Education: PhD in Urban Studies (UCL, 2010), BSc (Hons) in Geography (UCL, 2001). Key research areas include urban health systems, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable development goals (SDGs 11, 12, 13). Her leadership in the Complex Urban Systems for Sustainability and Health (SUSHA) programme highlights her expertise in integrating diverse evidence for policy action.
