Gelasakis Athanasios

Dr. Athanasios Gelasakis is an Associate Professor of Farm Animal Diseases at the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), affiliated with the Laboratory of Anatomy & Physiology of Farm Animals. He holds a BSc and PhD in Veterinary Medicine from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2005, 2011), an MSc in Public Health (2013), and is a Diplomate of the European College of Small Ruminant Health Management (2014). His career includes roles as a researcher at the Veterinary Research Institute of ELGO-Dimitra (2016–2018) and teaching positions at multiple institutions before joining AUA in 2018.
