معرفی
Geir E Dullerud is the W. Grafton and Lillian B. Wilkins Professor of Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds multiple concurrent roles including Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Mechanical Science and Engineering, Director of the Center for Autonomy (Grainger College of Engineering), and Professor across departments including Siebel School of Computing and Data Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Information Trust Institute, and Coordinated Science Lab.
His research focuses on control systems, nonlinear control, and optimization with applications to robotics, cyber-physical systems, and stochastic systems. Notable contributions include work on Markov jump linear systems, semidefinite programming, and discrete-time control frameworks. Recent research explores event-triggered stabilization, policy search in LQG control, and adaptive trajectory learning for nonlinear systems.
He has received prestigious awards including IEEE Fellow (2008) and ASME Fellow (2011), along with the NSF CAREER Award (1999). His work bridges theoretical advancements with practical applications in autonomous systems and networked control.
