Geetanjali Saluja is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Marketing Discipline Group at the UTS Business School, University of Technology Sydney. She holds a PhD in Marketing from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2016) and a Diploma in Management from the Indian School of Business. Her research focuses on brand activism, sustainable consumption, cultural influences on consumer behavior, and moral decision-making.
Her recent work explores topics such as corporate racial equity initiatives, food waste reduction strategies, and the impact of cultural mindsets on consumer responses. She has secured research funding through the UTS Business School Grant (2025) for her project on optimizing strategies to reduce food waste. Her research has been published in journals like the European Journal of Marketing and Journal of Business Research.
Dr. Saluja has contributed to service roles including presentations on marketing curriculum development and media engagements on brand reputation rebuilding and feedback mechanisms in education. She teaches courses in branding and brand management, reflecting her expertise in marketing strategy and consumer behavior.
