Gayle Waddell

Gayle Waddell is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at University of Liverpool Management School. With professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CIOT), she brings industry experience from PwC and HM Revenue & Customs to her academic role.

Her teaching focuses on professional accounting skills development and business fundamentals. She coordinates modules on accounting practice and business functions, emphasizing real-world application of accounting principles.

Ms. Waddell previously served as Senior Tutor for Postgraduate Studies and chaired the Postgraduate Board of Examiners. She holds a PG Certificate in Higher Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
