Dr. Gavin Mountjoy is a Reader in Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Kent's School of Physics and Astronomy. He holds a BSc from Victoria University of Wellington and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His career includes roles at Arizona State University and a Marie Curie Fellowship at the University of Cagliari.
- Research Focus: Structural characterization of novel oxide materials, with expertise in X-ray/neutron scattering, molecular dynamics, and transmission electron microscopy.
