Gautschy Rita is a Lecturer at the Department of Ancient Civilizations, University of Basel, with a focus on Egyptology, Chronology, and the intersection of Ancient Near Eastern studies with archaeoastronomy. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and contributes to projects like Digital LIMC/SALSAH (since 2015) and the Swiss National Science Foundation-funded research on ancient astronomical observations.
