Gary Chen is an Assistant Professor at the School of Accountancy & MIS, DePaul University. He holds a PhD in Accounting from Northwestern University and dual master’s degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Research Interests: His work bridges accounting with corporate social responsibility, information systems, labor relations, and supply chain management, focusing on economic forces shaping accounting disclosures and decision-makers' information search. He has published in top journals like Journal of Accounting and Economics and Contemporary Accounting Research.
