Garrett McKinnon is an Assistant Teaching Professor of History at North Carolina State University, specializing in U.S. history, militarism, technology, and gender. His research examines militarism and technology in 20th-century America, particularly drone warfare and covert operations. McKinnon earned his Ph.D. from Duke University and held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering, and Technology.
