Gareth Harding is a visiting professor at the College of Europe and serves as the Director of the Missouri School of Journalism's Brussels Program. With over 25 years of experience as a Brussels journalist covering European affairs, he brings practical expertise to his academic roles.

Harding's research interests revolve around European Union communications, international media perspectives, and political journalism. His work bridges academic theory and real-world practice through the Opinion Corner 3 e-magazine, which explores EU communication dynamics.
Harding received the Erasmus EuroMedia Award in 2010, including a Special Award for Aesthetics and Design, recognizing his e-magazine's innovative multimedia approach and user-friendly design.
As founder of Clear Europe, a media training company, and former political advisor to the House of Commons/European Parliament, Harding combines civic engagement with media education. He has mentored journalism students through the Missouri School of Journalism's European programs since 2007.
