Gareth Evans is a Lecturer and Head of Subject for Operational Policing at the University of South Wales (USW), affiliated with the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education. He is a member of the Hydra Research and Innovation Group. His professional background includes a PCET education qualification awarded on 1 November 2016.
Research interests focus on operational policing practices, police training methodologies, and the development of apprenticeship frameworks within law enforcement. Evans actively contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives bridging academic and practical policing needs.
