Gareth Bryant is a Professor and Chair of the Discipline of Political Economy at the University of Sydney. He is an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow and economist-in-residence with the Sydney Policy Lab. His work focuses on sustainable economies, public finance, and democratic economic systems.
