Dr. Ganesh Sankaranarayanan is a Clinical Associate Professor and co-director of the Center for Assessment of Surgical Proficiency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He holds adjunct roles at the University of Texas at Arlington and Texas A&M College of Medicine. His expertise spans surgical simulation, medical robotics, and AI-driven surgical guidance. He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and completed postdoctoral research at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
