Gale Gibson-Gayle

Dr. Gale Gibson-Gayle serves as VP for Academic Affairs for Partnerships & Enrollment, Dean of Graduate, Online & Professional Programs, and Accreditation Liaison Officer at St. Francis College (SFC).

She holds a B.S. and M.A. from Binghamton University (SUNY) and an Ed.D. from North Carolina State University.

Her research centers on underrepresented students in higher education, specializing in academic performance, retention, progression, and completion of at-risk student populations. Her work addresses systemic barriers in educational equity through data-driven interventions and policy analysis.

Dr. Gayle has received over 50 awards for service excellence and maintains 37 organizational memberships with 40 board affiliations. Her scholarly output includes 6+ publications and 31+ conference presentations, with research featured in the New York Times and media appearances on Katie Couric, Meet the Leaders, and NJTV News.

Her leadership spans founding the College of Freshman Studies, serving as Chief Academic Officer & Provost, President, and guiding institutions to Middle States accreditation compliance as an evaluator for SACS and MSCHE.
