Gail Linsenbard is a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has previously taught philosophy at New York University and California Polytechnic University.

Her research focuses on existentialist philosophy, feminist theory, and ethics. She has published book chapters on William James and Simone de Beauvoir, as well as papers on women's human rights and Jean-Paul Sartre's philosophy. Her most recent publication, Ethics as Flourishing Humanity, appears in a comprehensive volume on Sartre's work.
