Dr. Gail Jones is a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of STEM Education at North Carolina State University. Her research focuses on science education, particularly teaching and learning in diverse sociocultural contexts, including gender, minority, and visually impaired student populations. She directs the Nanoscale Science Education Research Group and collaborates with institutions like the STEPS Center and Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network. Her work explores phosphate sustainability education, virtual reality tools, and micro-credential systems for teacher professional development.
