Gaetana Cremona

Gaetana Cremona is a Researcher at the Institute of Biosciences and BioResources (IBBR), part of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), working at the Portici Division. Her research focuses on plant genetics and epigenetics, particularly in the context of sexual reproduction in model plants and crops.

Dr. Cremona earned her PhD in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Naples Federico II in 2010, following a Master's Degree in the same field from the same institution in 2002. Her academic journey includes research fellowships at CEINGE - Biotechnology Centre Napoli (2003-2006) and at the Institute of Biosciences and Bioresources (2008-2010) before becoming a permanent Researcher at CNR in 2010.
