Dr. Gabriella Wilson is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine. She provides clinical care at the Yale Center for Asthma and Airways Disease and the Winchester Center for Lung Disease, focusing on severe asthma and complicated airways diseases. Additionally, she cares for critically ill patients in the Yale New Haven Hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit. Her research emphasizes defining eosinophil heterogeneity in asthma through translational research methods.
Dr. Wilson completed her MD at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine (2017) and earned her BS from Boston College (2012). She performed her residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, graduating in 2020 and 2023 respectively.
Her research interests are centered on asthma pathophysiology, particularly the role of eosinophils in disease mechanisms. She employs translational research approaches to advance understanding of asthma treatment responses and heterogeneity in patient populations. Her work bridges clinical and laboratory investigations to improve diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for severe respiratory conditions.
Dr. Wilson is affiliated with the Yale Center for Asthma and Airways Disease and the Winchester Center for Lung Disease, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address complex respiratory disorders. She actively contributes to clinical care in critical care settings and advancing translational asthma research.
