معرفی
Dr. Gabriella Koltai is a Senior Scientist (50% position) at the University of Innsbruck’s Institute of Geology. She leads the Innsbruck Quaternary Research Group, specializing in high-resolution climate proxies from speleothems and cryogenic cave carbonates. Her work bridges geology, climatology, and hydrology, with a focus on Alpine and global karst systems.
Education & Career
- PhD in Climatology & Landscape Ecology (University of Szeged, 2017)
- Postdoctoral positions at University of Innsbruck (2017–2021) and Austrian Academy of Sciences (2020–2021)
- Current roles: Research Fellow (50% position since 2019), Adjunct Lecturer (50% position since 2020)
Research Interests
Dr. Koltai’s research focuses on:
- High-resolution climate reconstructions using speleothems
