Gina Moseley is an Assistant Professor of Palaeoclimatology at the University of Innsbruck's Institute of Geology. Her research focuses on reconstructing Quaternary climates using speleothems (cave deposits) to study glacial cycles, interglacial periods, and rapid climate changes. She leads the Innsbruck Quaternary Research Group and has conducted pioneering expeditions to Northeast Greenland's remote caves, uncovering critical climate records dating back hundreds of thousands of years. Her work integrates geology, geochemistry, and environmental science with field exploration in extreme polar environments.
