Gabriele Giannini is a full Professor in the Department of French Literature at the Université de Montréal and directs the Centre d'études médiévales. He specializes in Romance philology, focusing on the material transmission of medieval texts, including French literature's circulation in Italy, Occitan/Oïl apocryphal/hagiographic literature, and texts from the Latin East. His research emphasizes textual materiality and cultural exchanges.
