Gabriele Buchholz

Prof. Dr. Gabriele Buchholz is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück. Her career includes roles as Beigeordnete (senior administrator) in municipalities like Schwerte and Minden, where she managed financial, administrative, and operational portfolios. She holds a Dr. oeconomicae from the University of Leipzig and has completed research stints at Monash University (Melbourne) and the World Bank (Washington DC). Her research focuses on public financial management, municipal governance, and integrated control systems in local administrations.
