Gabriele Asta is an Associate Professor in International Law at the Department of Economics, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. He holds the scientific-disciplinary sector IUS/13 and is affiliated with the Italian Society of International Law (SIDI). His work focuses on advisory jurisdiction of international courts, human rights protection systems, and maritime law, with a particular interest in European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and Inter-American Court practices.
