Gabriela Preutesei is a Lecturer and Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) at the University of Sunderland in London, supporting students in BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care and FdSc Health and Social Care courses. She earned her BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care from the University of Sunderland (class of 2020) and previously served as a member of the Services for Students (SfS) - Engagement and Gateway Team from 2020 to 2022.
Her research focuses on Education and Student Support Services, particularly on fostering student self-esteem through Personal Academic Tutoring. She is actively involved in academic development and holds professional recognitions such as the
