Gabriel Zucman is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a PhD from the Paris School of Economics (EHESS) and has previously taught at the London School of Economics (2014-2015). His research focuses on economic inequality, tax havens, and global wealth distribution, with notable contributions to understanding tax avoidance and wealth redistribution policies. He was awarded the Clark Medal in 2023 and the Bernacer Prize in 2019.
Education: Began at ENS Paris-Saclay (Social Sciences, 2005-2009), completed a Master's in Economic Analysis at Paris School of Economics (2008), and a PhD in Economics at EHESS (2013).
