Gabriel T. Acevedo

Gabriel T. Acevedo is an Assistant Professor in the English Department at Arizona State University (ASU). His research and teaching focus on English Education, Social Justice, and LGBTQ+ representation. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, he holds degrees from the University of Puerto Rico (B.A., M.A.) and a Ph.D. from Penn State University (2020). His interdisciplinary work bridges Teacher Preparation, Queer Studies, and Multimodal Literacies.

Teaching: Focuses on courses like Approaches to Research, Teaching Young Adult Literature, and Methods of Teaching Language at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
